Julian Tyson has over 30 years of experience in law, with a strong focus on Family Law. He primarily represents parents in disputes concerning children, and acts for both parents and children in cases involving social services. Julian also has significant experience supporting individuals facing mental health challenges.
He is a member of Resolution, a national organisation promoting constructive approaches to family disputes, and is accredited by the Law Society’s Children Panel, recognising his expertise in representing children.
Beyond his legal work, Julian is committed to community service. He is Deputy Chair of Pentreath, a charity supporting mental health recovery, and Chair of Active8, which empowers young people with physical disabilities.
Julian is also deeply involved in the Army Cadet Force in Cornwall. He runs the Camborne and Penryn detachments, serves as Second in Command at Helston, and holds the role of Company First Aid Training Advisor.
